Hair 911?

Yes, there is more we have to discuss about your hair. We have heard your feedback, and some of you asked about other products on the site. I wanted to share my thoughts and provide my answers here. I have had great hair for a long time. If you include the hair that I buy and temporary styles I use to cover my natural hair, haha. It is hard work maintaining hair, isn't it?

No matter if your hair is natural or purchased, you need to take care of your hair. The best hair is supported with a healthy scalp, as we discussed in the last blog. Have you seen the women who have gorgeous weaves, but their front is missing? Maybe the baby hairs that had too much weight and snapped under the pressure. Wigs were made to be a temporary solution I believe, but the weave business has grown leaps and bounds since the 50s and 60s.

In our day and age, we are able to sew up our hair while in a protective style and focus on the image and look we want. We are not here to argue for or against weave, but we will always support you being you. Your natural hair cannot be ignored. If you neglect it, it will abandon you by falling out, breaking, and splitting. If you are experiencing some of these effects, here are a few things you can do!

We ladies are solution-driven here at Infinite Beauty Possibilities!

I would suggest a good shampoo and conditioner routine. Conditioning your hair cannot be said enough. If you are doing the work of promoting a healthy scalp and keeping it free of dandruff and dirt, you can now focus on your hair strains. Hair needs moisture if you are a woman of color. The best way to trap moisture in your hair is to hydrate using a conditioner before shampooing.

Here is my fabulous combo, plus a few must-haves for any woman wanting to tame the mane- gel and hair sheen. CHEERS to strong strands and full protection! Packed with a natural source of amino acids derived from beer to strengthen and nourish the hair. Leaves hair restored, shiny, and BREW-tiful!

Whatever you do, practice it on a small area to see if you have any adverse reactions. Sometimes an ingredient can cause you to itch or respond in a negative way. If you ever try a soap and instantly feel a burning, itchy, or agitated sensation, wash it out immediately and try a new product. We all have different allergies, and even natural products can cause issues.

When you find a product you love, try to wash your hair based on the recommended frequency for your hair type. If you have coarse hair, you can go easily 2 weeks or longer before washing. If you have sleek hair, you may need to wash it weekly or daily if your hair generates too much oil.

Olbali's formulation is crafted with all women in mind, but they have a focus on women of color. Their products emphasize bringing moisture and cleaning the hair. If hydration is an issue, try the combo set to get the full effect from the product. You don't typically eat spaghetti noodles without the sauce; eat peanut butter without jelly, so get the combo and see how your hair feels.

This is it for today. Be back soon!
